Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist will perform a variety of customer service and stocking duties related to receiving and ordering parts and accessories and must maintain a clean and organized parts room at all times. The Inventory Control Specialist will also ensure parts are ordered and stocked as per the needs of the shop and recieve, ship and store parts as needed in accordance with MBI guidelines.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work with mechanics to order parts and make sure shop needs have been stocked.
  • Bill out multiple daily work orders and invoicing.
  • Process of returns and warranty parts to the vendors in a timely manner.
  • Possess knowledge of inventory concepts and processes.
  • Take a proactive approach to inventory control by assisting and researching discrepancies.
  • Possess knowledge of computer software programs I RTA, Data Entry, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and communication.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Required to be present and available during shift changes

Education

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
